From 5 to 9 November, EPEE, the European Partnership for Energy and the Environment, was present at the 30th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol in Quito, Ecuador.
On 7 November, EPEE hosted a very successful evening side-event, attended by more than 50 people.
The event’s theme was: “Ways forward to reduce HFC emissions in light of the Kigali Amendment lessons learned – an industry perspective”
The programme of the event included the launch of the EPEE Lessons Learned document, presentations about the Australian (Greg Picker, Refrigerants Australia) and Japanese approaches (with a short intervention by Kagawa-san, JSRAE) and an update about the UNEP-EPEE Outlook model (Shamila Nair-Bedouelle, UNEP).
